The official party of the Corona Open J-Bay, the Park Off Music Festival, has announced a stacked line-up that includes some of South Africa’s most popular musicians.

During the four-day festival that runs concurrently to the first half of the surfing event from 13 to 16 July, fans can look forward to an eclectic mix of musicians. These are singer-songwriter Jeremy Loops, Pretoria-born band Desmond and the Tutus, live-electronic group GoodLuck, genre-fluid performer and producer Muzi, and surfer musician Steven Sawyer.

Adding a diverse flair to the mix are DJs TiMO ODV, Dean Fuel, Ronald Rowley, Rimix, Tanya Vee, Detroit, Trist, Jake White Disco, Aidin Caye, and Abby Nurock. In its second year, the festival will attract local and international visitors at Supertubes Park, with the world’s most famous right-hand point break a barrel spit away.

“The J-Bay Open is hands down one of  the best events on the WSL tour, for spectators. Goosebump moments are guaranteed throughout the week of surfing and celebrating”, says Park Off organiser Graham Kennedy. “The Park Off festival site is fully covered by tents, so come rain or shine, it's gonna be a good time!”.

From the event organisers, to visitors and musicians, festival-goers are gearing up to enjoy the festivities, and can expect to hear new tunes. "I can’t wait to play these new songs that I’ve been working on. To say I’m excited is an understatement" says singer and producer Muzi.

Whether attendees are dedicated surf fans looking to unwind after a day at the Corona Open J-Bay, or are in town solely for the live show experience, there’s something for audience members of all ages and backgrounds. From indie, to pop, rock, acoustic and alternative music, the festival caters to all.

For the night owls that like to dance the night away, “The After Party” shows will take place on each night of the festival, from 10pm till 3am. The After Party venue is the famed Jolly Dolphin, complete with an ocean view. The first night, hosted by Gqeberha’s very own house music favourite, Just Groovin’, features DJs Vega, Celso, R&R, and Jay Kay. Night two, hosted by Cape Town surf-skate brand, Float Apparel, will feature Sion, Lovers, Los Jetsons, and R&R. Night three’s line-up, hosted by Park Off Music, includes Rimix, Jake White Disco, Ronald Rowley, and Dean Fuel. The final after party, hosted by Sunday Friends, will close off with Rimix, Detroit, Ronald Rowley, Faff & Foos, and L.H.O.

The Park Off Music Festival is a mainstay on the July calendar, with good reason, and is not to be missed. Food and drinks will be on sale throughout the duration of the festival. Tickets are available via AirDosh HERE No under 18s please.
